I sound like that line from the movie BIG: "Want it, read it, liked it, need it, need it, read it, want it..."

:) :) Enjoy diving into this hearty stack o' books!

That is a serious stack of books. I'm torn between envy and thinking "wow, I'd be so stressed out if I felt like I had to actually read all of those books." But mostly envy. I'm going to ALA next year when it's in Anaheim, I think.

It always amazes me that they just *give* you these things. Okay, you pay for the privilege by being part of the ALA, and paying the Conference fees. But -- wow. Books!!

You guys get Christmas/Hanukkah twice a year!!!!

And ohhhhh, I just noted the Hilari Bell...

I was trying not to bring home a lot, but now I'm wishing I had a little more...

Great seeing you there! Wish we had more time together to chat. Another time.

Do give a report, at least of the Printz Awards and the YA breakfast. That's what I'm waiting to hear about.

Oh, I can just picture your bedside table buckling! What bounty!!! Can't wait to read your reviews :)

I just wish I could sit and read and blog. But alas... I can't.

It is great seeing all those books, and it was an amazing conference with too little time. It felt like I barely got to say hi/bye to people.

And I am hoping to get the chance to blog some more this weekend about the conference and programs. And podcast! I'm on one of the ALA podcasts.

I am a new author who recently turned bedtime stories into a children’s book: John Fastramp and the Dakota 3000 Challenge (www.johnfastramp.com). The book is now available on Amazon, Borders.com and Abesbooks.com. My children loved these nightly bedtime stories about an amazing driver, his unique race car and his wonderful adventures. Years later, at the urging of friends and local parents I turned the stories into a manuscript. It was very well received by our local community. In addition, the manuscript became part of the 4th grade curriculum at our local school.

I am hoping to introduce other children to these stories. The kids in our local community love the story. Any ideas on how I can introduce moms and dads to this book for their kids?
