I'm hoping that the film does well tonight, and I'm happily encouraging folks online and in the bookstore to read the book. Go Lara/Lola! <BR/><BR/>I also hope that the film allows Morgan to have shades of gray. I like that the books show her fall and rise, while so many stories (be they books, films, etc) would rather show the opposite, the rise and fall. It seems as though so many magazines and whatnot feed into it, almost wanting celebs to have spiral downward and self-destruct for the sake of buzz / controversy / ratings / sales. That, to me, is gross - and the one of the many reason why mainstream "news" and magazines don't appeal to me!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
