I was just having a conversation along these lines yesterday with a friend - although about obsession with Buffy, then fantasy books in general - not Star Trek. I'll be sure to send it his way - he'll be thrilled (as I was) to realize there are that many people geekier than us!
But it failed to answer my question as to where adults with Star Wars/Sci Fi Movie figurines around their house on display fit in...

Heh ! I'm hardly geeky at all - in fact, if the fact that I'm a published critic of fantasy fiction allows me to put myself in box 1, then I'm the least geeky person on that chart !
