Loved it! Cannot wait to blog more about the dramatic and confident Gilda Joyce and her wonderful investigative powers; and the mystery plot with a touch of possible ghost.
Also, liked that while GJ is part of a "series" each so far works as a standalone.

Gilda Joyce: The Ladies of the Lake is one of my absolute faves! Most books don't really make me laugh, but this one made me guffaw! Gilda is hilarious with a huge H. I can't wait for the next one to come out in August and am looking forward to your review, Liz. I wish the Gilda books were getting more publicity!
