I greatly enjoyed the book True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet.
And I am looking forward to watching the movie tonight at 9 on Lifetime.
And, if the Internet gods smile upon me, I will be live Twittering it with Carlie.
Meanwhile, a must-read is the story behind the story.
Also known as A Chair, A Fireplace, & A Tea Cozy. Or just Tea Cozy. Talking about books, TV shows, movies.

I remember us talking about this book two years ago, and now it's a movie! I'm hoping that the film does well tonight, and I'm happily encouraging folks online and in the bookstore to read the book. Go Lara/Lola!
I also hope that the film allows Morgan to have shades of gray. I like that the books show her fall and rise, while so many stories (be they books, films, etc) would rather show the opposite, the rise and fall. It seems as though so many magazines and whatnot feed into it, almost wanting celebs to have spiral downward and self-destruct for the sake of buzz / controversy / ratings / sales. That, to me, is gross - and the one of the many reason why mainstream "news" and magazines don't appeal to me!
